FAQs

Are your classes beginner-friendly?

Yes, all of our classes are beginner-friendly. We recommend attending a couple of our Beginner Reformer classes to start with, if possible. However, if those times don’t suit your schedule, you’re very welcome to join any of our sessions—our instructors will always support you at your own pace.

What time should I arrive for my first class?

Please arrive 10 minutes before your first class. This allows time to complete a quick health and safety form, meet your instructor, and get a brief introduction to the reformers and studio.

What should I wear?

Wear whatever you feel most comfortable in—leggings, joggers, shorts, sports bras, t-shirts, or hoodies are all perfect. The only requirement is grippy socks for safety and stability. If you don’t have any, they are available to purchase in the studio.

Do I need to bring anything?

All you need are your grippy socks. We also recommend bringing a bottle of water and something to tie your hair back if needed.

How can I contact you?

You can email us at info@gravitypilates.co.uk or call us on 03300 562346.
If you contact us outside of opening hours, you may receive a quicker response via Instagram DMs or Facebook Messenger. All communication channels are checked daily.

How do I find you? Is there parking available?

Our address is:
Unit 7, Bridge Street Mills, Via Elizabeth Street, Macclesfield, SK11 6QL.
If you’re having trouble finding us, you can watch our “how to find us” video for guidance. Parking options are available nearby.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule a class?

We operate a 24-hour cancellation policy. Please ensure you cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your class.
• If you cancel within 24 hours and have a class pack, the session credit will be lost.
• If you are on a membership, a late cancellation will incur a charge equivalent to a single class (currently £20).

How big are the classes?

Our classes are intentionally small and personal, with a maximum of 8 people per session. This ensures you receive the best possible guidance and support from your instructor.

How do I cancel my membership?

To cancel your membership, please email info@gravitypilates.co.uk.
Please note that we require 30 days’ notice prior to your next billing date. If this notice period is not provided, you may be charged for the following month.

Can I do Reformer Pilates if I’m recovering from an injury?

Yes—Pilates can be very beneficial for recovery from certain injuries. However, we always recommend checking with your doctor or healthcare professional before attending if you have any concerns. Please also inform your instructor prior to class.

How often should I attend classes to see results?

We recommend attending 2–3 classes per week to start seeing noticeable results. With regular practice, you can expect improvements in strength, posture, flexibility, and overall wellbeing.
